Fall Interim Program
COVID-19 has made this XC season a challenge for everyone but the limited race opportunities and short season doesn’t mean you have to lose out or get behind. High School athletes can train with Peak once their commitment to their HS team is complete. This interim time gives you opportunities to race, continue your training, and reach towards big goals for the track season.
When: October 5- October 25th
Monday- Rooney Rd. Trailhead at Green Mountain @ 4:30p
Tuesday- Trailhead Crossfit @ 5:30pm
Wednesday Bell Middle School @ 4:30p
Friday- Southridge Park @ 4:30p
Winter Session
A long winter of training, an opportunity to train with a team, build fitness, and prepare for the first track meet. Currently CHSAA Guidelines have Track and Fields First Practice as 4/26 with first competition on 4/29. Athletes will only be able to compete in 8 total events. This means athletes need to come into their racing season fit and ready to rumble! Our winter training program will make training an option for athletes throughout the 6 month gap between seasons.

Programming
Given the extensive timeline and the desire to keep kids happy, healthy, and engaged we will be focusing on the basics of training and using this opportunity to refine skills and create mastery in movements critical to running. We believe that this long break is an opportunity for athletes to build their training form the ground up without getting burnt out.
